2021 Brecktoberfest

🎶 ‘Ein Prosit der GemĂĽtlichkeit’

Danke schön! Breckenridge’s renowned Oktoberfest has taken on a new name (Brecktoberfest) scheduled to return Friday, September 24 – Sunday October 26, 2021.

Although things may look a little different this year, this popular event still promises to pack in the fun mimicing a full-blown Munich celebration on the Breckenridge Riverwalk Center lawn with live music from The Polkanauts, enough fall-themed beer and cuisine to put anyone in the “Prost!” spirit, and fall colors providing the ultimate backdrop.

🍺 What you need to know :

To provide a more comfortable and safer festival experience for our patrons, available Brecktoberfest tickets have been dramatically downsized compared to Breckenridge’s traditional Oktoberfest celebration held in years past. Ths year’s event will be hosted outside on the Riverwalk Center lawn with limited offerings held inside the Riverwalk Center. Brecktoberfest stein purchases/tickets are required to attend event. Tickets include a reserved three-hour session, one half-liter stein and two beer tokens. All Brecktoberfest events will adhere to all public health and safety regulations required for Colorado. this event will have limited capacity and all sessions are expected to sell out quickly. Reservations and entry for Brecktoberfest is limited to those who are 21 and older.

Friday, Saturday & Sunday Daily Session Times :

  • Session 1 :: 11:00am – 2:00pm
  • Session 2 :: 3:00pm – 6:00pm

Price: $50 per session ticket

Please Note : as of September 15, Breckenridge Creative Arts requires all ticket holders of BCA managed indoor public facilities, including the Breckenridge Riverwalk Center, to present proof of COVID-19 vaccination or proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 48 hours of entry, along with a state issued driver’s license or ID. Guests ages 2 to 11 who are not eligible to receive a vaccine will be required to wear a mask at all times. More information can be found at

Other Weekend Events

Just like the official Oktoberfest held in Munich, several resorts, venues and Breckenridge businesses will celebrate in their own way; guests can expect beer gardens and activations throughout the Breckenridge community.

Enjoy the masterful pairings of traditional German cuisine, authentic Paulaner Bier, Bavarian music and entertainment while we celebrate.


The 2nd Annual Oktober-FEAST will makes it’s comeback, showcasing Breckenridge’s culinary community with memorable Bavarian-style mountain dining experiences and imaginative multi-course meal and craft libation pairings.
