Ski Country Policies

For direct and VRBO reservations, cancelations made with-in:

·         14 days before the arrival date are nonrefundable for cancelations for any reason.

·         14 - 30 days before arrival are eligible for up to a 50% refund.

·         30 or more days before arrival are entitled to a 100% refund.

We can only refund the fees that Ski Country Resorts has received. We cannot guarantee that a travel agency, third party, or travel insurance fee will be refunded.

Ski Country Resorts cannot speak for cancelation policies made through third party sites. Please feel free to reach out to whoever you booked through to check on your cancelation policy and ask questions. We urge you to purchase travel insurance, as they are an essential tool for mitigating cancelation costs. 

At Ski Country, we love our four-legged friends and although a majority of our properties have a strict 'No Pets' policy, we do offer some Dog Friendly Properties. Restrictions & additional fees may apply. These are HOA rules we are forced to adhere to.

The majority of units managed by Ski Country Resorts are within walking distance of historic Main Street and the Slopes. For a big grocery run, it might be essential to have access to a car or take an Uber, but many of our guests are able to visit Breckenridge without having to worry about bringing a car or driving in winter conditions.

The Breckenridge FreeRide Shuttle can help you get around with stops all over town.
If traveling outside of Breckenridge to any nearby Summit County towns like Copper or Frisco, the free Summit Stage is a convenient and reliable source of transportation.

Unfortunately, due to liability issues, we cannot personally provide crib or pack & play rentals. However, our friends at Mountain Tot offer quality, affordable name-brand Baby Gear Rentals with door-to-door delivery to your vacation rental.

Helpful Stay Information

We issue check-in instructions on the day of check-in by text, or WhatsApp for international numbers. The check-in text will tell you either to head to your keyless unit directly with the door codes, or to come to our front desk at 213 N Main St to collect a packet with keys. If you need to collect a packet, the text will include a locker number and the code to gain access. To collect the packet, park behind our yellow building at 213 N Main St, go through the yellow door and you will see the lockers on your left. Naturally, keyless units are free to go to the unit and skip collecting a packet at the front desk.

Check in is at 4pm (guaranteed by 6pm) and Check out is no later than 10am. Keys must be returned to our Main Street Office. We do offer complimentary luggage storage at our check-in/check-out location at 213 N Main St.

Sadly, we cannot guarantee any changes to the check-in or checkout process. If we can get it ready earlier on the day of arrival, we will notify you by text. To ask for a later checkout, please text us the morning of departure, but know that we're not often able to extend checkout time.

Absolutely. The check-in text instructions you will receive on the day of arrival once the unit is ready will include directions that you can follow right then, or at midnight without any changes. However, if you end up being a day late, please call or text us to ensure a smooth check-in.

Serviced condos and homes are a flexible and cost effective alternative to hotels. For this reason, daily housekeeping services are not a typical service that is provided on shorter stays. Your clean fee ensures that your rental is thoroughly cleaned and maintained prior to your arrival and covers the one-time set up of all linens and towels. We also provide a complimentary "starter kit" of different household items (listed below).

For stays a week (7+ nights) or longer, we do provide a complimentary mid-stay towel change and for stays longer than a week (8+ nights) a mid-stay clean will be provided with fresh linens and towels. At any point during your stay, should you find you need additional towels, simply stop by our office or give us a call. We are also happy to arrange additional services, for a monetary fee. Feel free to contact us to inquire.

An initial supply of toilet paper, Kleenex, dish detergent, soap, garbage bags, paper towels, salt, pepper & basic spices will be provided for you. There is a local grocery store for anything else you may need. We also provide linens like sheets, pillow cases, wash clothes, bath mats, and bath towels.

Please, do not expect to be able to park at your unit before check-in or after checkout. Local HOA's are well known for ticketing or towing cars for being parked at a complex for violating this policy.

The complex the Village at Breckenridge has a limited pool of parking spots that are not guaranteed to be available and have a nightly cost.

We do not set the maximum number of permits we can issue, and have no ability to ask for additional parking even with a fee.
