River Mountain Lodge offers a surplus of additional amenities which will help make your vacation stress free. A 24-hour front desk to help with any questions or concerns you may have. We really enjoyed our stay. It is a very convenient location to walk to all of the restaurants, rent skis and take a bus to the slopes. We also enjoyed the hot tub which was just outside our unit. Overall very good place.

Location, location, location!
The lodge is extremely walkable to popular restaurants and downtown shops. The gondola is nearby, and the Ice Sculpture Festival was literally happening next door - such a fun bonus.
The lodge itself was clean, comfortable, and well maintained.
The stairs to the upstairs loft are a bit steep and tricky when carrying luggage, but once you’re up there, it’s very comfortable with great closet space and a nicely sized bathroom. The natural light in the bathroom was a cool touch - you can even see the stars and moon at night at times.
We enjoyed using one of the hot tubs right outside on the deck, though only one was fully working during our stay. The deck was pretty icy and slippery, so adding salt would be helpful.
The 10am checkout felt a bit early, as we’re more accustomed to an 11am checkout, and we weren’t able to get a late checkout.
Aside from those minor things, the lodge was a great place to celebrate my 40th birthday. Definitely recommend!
