Most of Ski Country's properties are within walking distance of historic Main Street and the Slopes. In addition, the majority of Breckenridge neighborhoods are serviced by the Free Ride Transportation System. 

If traveling outside of Breckenridge to any nearby Summit County towns, the Free Summit Stage is a convienent and reliable source of transportation. Or, recently, popular car hailing services such as Uber & Lyft have become available throughout Breckenridge & Summit County.

It may come as a surprise to some guests, but almost all vacation rentals in Breckenridge & Summit County do not have air conditioning. Although this may seem unthinkable in warm and humid climates at lower elevations, Breckenridge sits at 9,600 feet above sea level and has a very dry climate. Both of these characteristics make air conditioning irrelevant about 11 months out of the year. On average, the highest outside temperature in Breckenridge reaches about 78 degrees. Another benefit to Breckenridge's high elevation and lack of humidity is our scarcity of bugs, so feel free to open the windows and let the fresh, cool mountain air in!
