National Repertory Orchestra

The National Repertory Orchestra (NRO) is a premier summer music festival and training program based in Breckenridge, Colorado, dedicated to shaping the next generation of professional symphony musicians. Each year, 80 talented young musicians from around the world are selected through a highly competitive audition process to participate in an intensive eight-week fellowship. Under the leadership of Music Director Michael Stern and renowned guest conductors, the NRO presents as many as 21 orchestral concerts and over 100 events each summer, offering audiences a rich variety of classical and contemporary performances.

The NRO is known for its innovative approach, breaking down barriers between education, performance, and community engagement. Musicians not only perform at the Riverwalk Center and other venues across Summit County, but also take part in outreach initiatives, bringing music to neighborhoods, parks, libraries, and classrooms.
