NEW! United Airlines Round-Trip Service to Breckenridge!

Exciting news! Recently, United Airlines made a huge announcement regarding travel to Breckenridge. The popular international airline will now offer a roundtrip travel & transportation option to and from Breckenridge, Colorado. This package will include air travel to Denver International Airport (DIA) combined with a “luxury” bus liner trip from DIA directly to an office location in Downtown Breckenridge (just a short, 5 minute walk from Ski Country Resort’s check-in office).

“With this new service, customers can start their day anywhere in United’s global network and arrive slope side in Breckenridge minutes from the main gondola,” said Landline’s co-founder & CEO David Sunde.

Clearly, for any Breckenridge enthusiast, this is an exciting new alternative to renting a car & driving in adverse conditions or booking a seperate airport shuttle. And while Summit County & Breckenridge local airport shuttles may still fit the needs (and budget) of some travelers, others may find the convienence of the combination United package (and the amenities included) a real benefit. In regards to the buses, operated in partnership with Landline Co. (an LA based start up), Co-Founder & President Ben Munson says “We have worked closely with the United team to create a stress-free connecting experience in Denver. Customers will love our spacious leather seating, onboard streaming entertainment and free Wi-Fi.”

So how, exactly, does United’s “fly directly to the slopes” program work? According to United.com, “Customers connecting to Breckenridge at Denver will transfer to the Landline service from an assigned gate in Concourse A, remaining within the secure airside area of the terminal. Checked-in baggage will be transferred directly from the plane to the bus.” (Alternatively, customers originating in Breckenridge will be required to pass through security on transit in DIA). Passengers & their luggage will then be dropped off (and later collected) at a designated office in Downtown Breckenridge, on Main Street, roughly 100 yards from the ski lift (and only 1 block from Ski Country Resort’s centrally located office). In addition to Wi-Fi, buses also offer a lavatory, power plugs and tray at each seat. For now, passengers (ages 2 and over) will be required to wear face coverings when not eating, following U.S. aviation rules regarding the coronavirus.

United Airlines & Landline Co. both insist that keeping customer wellbeing is at the forefront, and will be implementing a wide variety of cleaning and safety measures as part of the new service. These measures, in addition to required facemasks, include:

· Back-to-front boarding
· Reduced seat capacity on Landline’s bus service to enable social distancing onboard
· Electrostatically spraying ahead of each departure and sanitizing high touch areas
· Implementing a UV disinfection air filtration system launched by OEM on all vehicles
· Providing United CleanPlusSM sanitizing wipes to each customer
· Requiring customers to complete a ‘Ready to Fly’ checklist at check-in, acknowledging they don’t have symptoms for COVID-19 and agreeing to follow policies

Customers can book their travel on United.com, starting March 11, by selecting Breckenridge as their final destination and flights start as low as $258 Round Trip from LAX & DFW. In addition, United MileagePlus ® members will be able to accrue Premier qualifying points (PQP) and redeemable miles on this new service.

Guests who have booked Breckenridge lodging with Ski Country Resorts will find additional convienence in both the neighboring location of our check-in office to United’s drop off/pick up location as well as our Complimentary in town Shuttle Service*, making the arrangement of free transportation to your unit after check-in a breeze!
