A Note From Ski Country Resorts

As you many have undoubetely heard by now, the entire state of Colorado (along with several others) has recently undergone strict, mandatory closures in an aggressive attempt to contain the COVID-19 Virus. If you’d like to read a quick overview of how this all played out for us, here at Ski Country Resorts and in Breckenridge, you can learn more by visiting our recent blog post titled COVID-19 & Breck.. What You Need to Know.

First, and foremost, to all of our past guests – we want take a moment to thank you and to let you know what an important role you play in our business. As such, we work hard to ensure that each and every one of you feels like family when you stay in a Ski Country property. We want your “home away from home” to feel as much like HOME as possible! And it’s times like these a simple “we care” can really mean a lot. Because, at the end of the day, we are all in this together. So, to begin, we’d like to take this time to, again, thank you for your support in the past and also reassure you that now, and always, your health, safety and satisfaction is of the utmost importance to us.

WHAT WE’VE DONE..At Ski Country Resorts, being able to share our beloved mountain town with those who travel from near and far to enjoy its unique vibe and unmatched beauty is a large part of what we love most about what we do. However, we absolutely understand that the health and well being of our our guests, our staff and our community always takes priority. We are also aware that the current circumstances have been unforeseen and extremely unique. So, when taking into account the current crisis, we believed the best course of action was to make a rare exception and waive our 45 day non-refundable cancellation policy for all guests that had scheduled stays with us for the remainder of the 2019/2020 Ski Season. For current relaxed cancellation & deposit policies for the 2020/2021 Ski Season, please visit www.skicountry.com/covid-relaxed-policies.

WHAT WE’VE LEARNED..While we are thankful for the opportunity to advertise our properties via third party sites to ensure that each property receives the maximum exposure possible and that potential guests have the opportunity to find their perfect ‘match’ when searching for a Breckenridge vacation rental, we have found ourselves feeling a bit helpless when we are unable to refund third party service fees to our guests. This has reiterated to us just how important booking direct can be. As well as the important role that Travel Insurance plays in costly reservations.Read More About Service Fees Here

MOVING FORWARD..Under the current ‘social distancing’ circumstances, we understand that you may be anxious for life to return to normal and to plan your next Breckenridge getaway. However, in light of current volatility, may have some hesitations about doing so. So we, at Ski Country Resorts, would like to ease your uncertainty by temporarily ‘relaxing’ our cancellation policies. From now, until further notice, all reservations made, either via our website or by phone, will automatically qualify for a ‘no money down’ option and will be treated as a ‘hold’ until we are all more certain of upcoming developments. Currently, the town of Breckenridge is scheduled to resume business as usual beginning Friday, May 1 and we are accepting reservations from this date forward. In addition, we would like to reassure you that all properties have been, and will continue to be, thoroughly cleaned and sanitized using a CDC approved cleaning routine.Learn More About Our ‘No Money Down’ Offer & Browse Our Specials
