It goes without saying that once you arrive in Breckenridge, you won't want to leave! But first, how do you get here?
Breckenridge is about 100 miles west of the Denver International Airport. Direct flights from around the country arrive here daily. Land, get your luggage and skis and either grab a shuttle or rent a car. The drive will typically take anywhere from an hour and a half to two hours, depending on traffic and weather/road conditions.

Icy, snowy, winding roads not your thing? Driving on I-70 can be difficult in winter. In addition to the Breck Free Ride, the Town also offers the Main Street Trolley, a unique and convenient way to get up and down Main Street. You can catch the Trolley from 9:00am –11:30pm daily at the designated stops along Main Street. The Trolley runs from the Ice Rink to the Transit Center where connections can be made to all other routes in the Breck Free Ride system.

There are over 1,000 paid parking spaces in and around Downtown. Use your smart phone to conveniently pay (via the Passport Parking app) or pay at the meter.

All Day Free Parking
All-day free parking is available at the Satellite and Ice Rink Lots. The Ice Rink Lot is serviced by the Free Ride year-round. The Satellite Lot is serviced by the Free Ride in the winter with quick access to routes on Airport Road in the summer.
After 3pm Free Parking
The F Lot, Tiger Dredge Lot, Wellington Lot, East Sawmill Lot and the Klack Placer Lot are available for free parking AFTER 3 pm. These lots are easy to find and are perfect for dining and shopping.
Overnight parking for passenger and over-sized vehicles is available at the Satellite lot on Airport Road. The cost is $5 per night for up to a maximum of 14 nights. The Free Ride Yellow Route provides 20-minute service to Breckenridge Station. (Overnight on-street parking is prohibited year round).
*Please note that all Ski Country properties do have a max vehicle allotment.
Should you be travelling with a number of vehicles that exceeds this allotment you will be required to use the above paid overnight parking.
