Breckenridge Independence DayEach year Breckenridge marks the 4th of July with a Rocky Mountain Flair and spirit of adventure. Entertainment, exciting activities, fantastic weather and loads of fun pack the holiday weekend with something for everyone. Breck’s celebration includes the vibrant Fourth of July Parade on historic Main Street, July Arts Festival, 10K trail run, bike race, live music, kids’ activities and so much more. End the night with the National Repertory Orchestra performing a patriotic concert at the Riverwalk Center with an extraordinary fireworks display to follow (weather permitting). Independence Day 10K Trail Run
A scenic 10k trail race offering up some of the best views in Breckenridge!
Firecracker 50 Mountain Bike Race
Cheer on riders or participate in a 50-mile journey on the beautiful trails surrounding the Breckenridge area.
Breckenridge 4th of July Garden Party
Enjoy coffee, mimosas and a breakfast spread as you watch the Breckenridge Fourth of July parade in style from the best view on Main Street.
Main Street Parade
Beginning with the Red, White and Blue Color Guard and Firecracker 50 Mountain Bike Race, this two hour parade will include floats constructed by several local businesses, the Reading of the Declaration of Independence by George Washington (C.J. Muller), a Prowler Car Show and so much more!
Kids’ Water Activities
Join the Red, White & Blue Fire Dept. in an old-time water fight!
Free Pony Rides
Enjoy complimentary pony rides courtesy of Farview horse rescue.
Street Arts Festival
A celebration of street, pavement and graffiti arts that will feature a weekend of 3D murals, chalk drawings, live music and hands-on workshops at the Breckenridge Arts District campus. This year, the must-see attraction is the Barder Boat on the East patio of the Old Masonic Hall.

35th Annual July Art Festival | July 6-8
Annually ranked one of the top art shows in the United States, event will feature over 100 artists from around the country. Artists will present ceramics, mixed media, fiber, jewelry, painting, wood, glass, sculpture and much more! A weekend you won’t want to miss full of art and mountain ambiance.
Family Fun Zone | July 4-7
Your kids will have a blast playing all day in the bounce house, massive trampoline and water balls zone!
