Breckenridge Independence Day

Each year Breckenridge marks the 4th of July with a Rocky Mountain Flair and spirit of adventure. Entertainment, exciting activities, fantastic weather and loads of fun pack the holiday weekend with something for everyone. Breck’s celebration includes the vibrant Fourth of July Parade on historic Main Street, July Arts Festival, 10K trail run, bike race, live music, kids’ activities and so much more. End the night with the National Repertory Orchestra performing a patriotic concert at the Riverwalk Center with an extraordinary fireworks display to follow (weather permitting). Independence Day 10k Trail Run | 7a

This scenic 10k trail running race offers up some of the best views in the Breckenridge area, while finishing just in time to catch the Main Street parade and other festivities. start at Carter Park. Visit www.BreckenridgeRecreation.com or call 970.453.1734 to sign up.

Fourth of July Garden Party | 9a

Annual Breckenridge Heritage Alliance Garden Party at the Barney Ford House Museum. Enjoy coffee, mimosas, and breakfast spread as you watch the Breckenridge Fourth of July parade in style from the best view on Main Street.

Firecracker 50 Mountain Bike Race | 9:30a

This mountain bike race launches the 4th of July Parade in front of thousands of spectators. Come cheer on riders as they embark on a 50 mile journey on the beautiful trails in and surrounding the Breckenridge area. Register early as this race fills up very quickly. Fourth of Main Street Parade | 10a

The official parade will start with the Red, White and Blue Color Guard. Join us in the Blue River Plaza following the parade for the reading of the Declaration of Independence by George Washington (C.J. Muller).

Fourth of July Patriotic Concert | 8p

For almost 20 years, the Town of Breckenridge and National Repertory Orchestra (NRO) have collaborated to present a Patriotic Concert each July 4th at the Riverwalk Center in Breckenridge, CO. In order to prevent numerous empty seats due to unused free tickets and in order to offer tickets online at a greater convenience to all of our guests, the Riverwalk Center Box Office will sell indoor reserved seat tickets.

Fireworks Display | 9:45p

A brilliant and dazzling fireworks display is slated to begin at 9:45pm and will be launched near the Gondola lots making them visible throughout town. (Weather and Conditions Dependent)

Mountain Arts Fest

July 1-3

Ranked #60 in Sunshine Artist's top 200 fine art festivals in 2016, this established show will feature over 100 artists from around the country. Artists will present ceramics, mixed media, fiber, jewelry, painting, wood, glass, sculpture and much more!

Street Arts Festival

July 2-4

A celebration of street, pavement and graffiti arts that will feature a weekend of 3D murals, chalk drawings, live music and hands-on workshops at the Breckenridge Arts District campus. Click Here For More Info.
