These spacious and well-constructed condominium residences are in a grand location situated on the Blue River under towering Blue Spruce trees. Between these trees take a quick morning walk on a small footbridge to the Quicksilver lift or the Peak 9 Base Area where all skier services are available. Equally close to Downtown, these units back up to the White River National Forest providing an all-around unique feel for your mountain vacation.
This charming 1,500 square foot, two bedroom, two bathroom condominium can sleep up to six people. Large windows and doors allow the light to illuminate every corner of the rustic themed unit, especially in the living room. There is ample seating in the living room to sit on the plush couches and enjoy your time around the decorative gas fireplace while watching your favorite movie on the TV/DVD. If you'd rather spend some time reading that vacation book this room is sure to provide all the light and comfort you will need.
The gourmet, wood and stainless steel, granite countertop kitchen has all the necessary state of the art appliances; coffee maker, microwave, stove, oven, refrigerator and even a tea kettle to enjoy a warm beverage after a long day on the slopes. Enjoy your home cooked meal made in the comfort of your own unit at the beautiful dining table for six or the kitchen side breakfast bar for two.
The master bedroom has a Queen bed that is encased in comfortable bedding and has a large window with tree top views. The second bedroom has two Twin beds that feature traditional, upscale quilted bedding and wood furnishings. If neither of the bedrooms provide enough sleeping space, there is a Queen sofa sleeper within the unit. Both bathrooms are elegantly designed with large granite countertops. This condominium also features a small, inviting patio where you can retreat to and get that quiet time we all cherish on vacation.
Other amenities include wireless high speed internet, heated underground parking, elevators, and on-site washer & dryers. Guests to the Powderhorn complex have access to the Columbine Recreation Center where guests can enjoy the outdoor heated pool, indoor and outdoor oversized hot tubs, shower rooms and a summer patio with outdoor furniture. (Seasonal - Subject to Spring/Fall Closures)
Beginning April 1st, 2018, the Columbine Pool center will be closed for remodeling and will not be open again until December 1st, 2018.

Very nicely presented with warm decore and convienince of location. A wonderful ski retreat with friends from the east coast. This condo is conveniently located within walking distance to just about everything Breckenridge has to offer. Access to the downtown shops and pubs within a 3-7 minute walk and more importantly for the skier/boarder a 2 minute walk to the "quick silver" high speed chair that will take you to south mountain/peak 10 in no time. The pull out isn't the most comfortable but that's par for a pull out. Staying in during our last night the kitchen had all the provisions necessary to accommodate a meal for 5 men. I would strongly recommend this stay for its convenience of location and quality of room for the price.

I visited Breckenridge for my daughter's wedding and couldn't have been more pleased with our accommodations. I had the opportunity to see many of the accommodations of the other wedding guests and none of the condos would hold a candle to Powderhorn. The condo was open and airy and very comfortable. The worst place that I saw was a condo at Der Steiermark. The staff at Ski Country could not have been any friendlier. They made sure that all of our needs were met quickly and efficiently. Great stay and I will definitely recommend Ski Country to anyone that is thinking of visiting Breck. I would never recommend Der Steiermark to anyone.

Admittedly, most Powderhorn condominiums are an upgrade from Der Steiermark condominiums in regards to furnishings, square footage, amenities, etc. While others may hold higher value to other features such as Der Steiermark's popular, onsite restaurant and downtown location, Powderhorn is an easy upgrade at a small price with a location that is still just a quick walk to popular Main Street Breckenridge and its seemingly endless amount of shopping, dining and nightlife. Congratulations to our daughter! We hope that this Breckenridge getaway will be the first of many and that we have the opportunity to host you all again during your next visit!
