Four O'Clock Chalet

Great location. Ski-in. Not ski out. Place is spacious and lots of bathrooms. Needs major updating. The couch is old old old. The bathrooms and showers could be better. They were very responsive when we had an issue with the hot water. It would be better to have access to the house directly at the house such as with a lock box and leaving the garage door opener inside the unit. Going to another location to get the keys and then drop off wasn’t the most convenient. The instructions to ski day to take the shuttle but unit 149 is right off a run, you can hike up to snowflake lift and that’s way easier. Sleds in the garage were awesome. You can sled after the lifts close right off the back.

Great location , close to town . Walk everywhere. I’ve rented many units in Breck that say ski-in, ski-out … meh… most aren’t. This unit you can ski to the driveway , and walk about 20 yards uphill to the slope and nearby lift . Well equipped kitchen as well .

The dishwasher was dead on arrival but otherwise everything worked and was stocked of what one would expect in a rental property. The property managers communicated well and brought out disposable cups/plates/bowls to get us through the week.

Our family had a wonderful time. The house was in a great location - private but within walking distance to Main Street. Everything was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. I’ll just reel off what comes to mind. Great place. WINTER VISIT. December 1. Great location to experience Breckenridge. 2. Clean house. Plenty room. We had 2 adults and 3 teenagers. 3. I don’t think this was mentioned in other reviews BUT you can walk up a small hill and turn left and be at a lift! (SNOWFLAKE). Huge. Probably 5 to 6 min walk, tops. SKI OUT 4. you can ski home. Four o’clock run. Super convenient. 5. Walk to downtown. 5 minutes. 6. Breckenridge Rec center super nice. Weights, cardio, etc. 5 min drive. 7. We went during a busy time of the year but if you’re ok with eating early (5/5:30) then can get into most restaurants. 8. Super quite street. 9. Last house at the end of a col de sac. 10. We would stay here again.

Great location. Walking distance to downtown Breckenridge and the lifts to peak 8 and several trail heads. The lodge is essentially a timeshare facility. Many of the amenities weren’t working correctly, but the main office sent out people to try to fix them. Also, lots of broken lights, bathroom fixtures, and window shades. Had a great time due to the location to the Breckenridge activities, but I don’t think I’ll be back.

This location is great! Loved that we could walk to Main Street and had easy access to transportation to the mountain. We even took advantage of the ski in from the 4o’clock run. The house was equipped with everything we needed, but it is a little worn. Sofas could be refreshed for a more comfortable place to relax at the end of the day.

For a bunch of Floridians this property didn’t get any more CO ski than this. Watching the skiers come down the mountain and basically in our front yard was so cool. Easy walking distance to the main drag. Property itself was nice but not over the top fancy, felt like a true cabin home.

Just a few steps to snowflake lift and ski back to the garage door! Also only a short walk down to Main Street means you can dump the car and enjoy everything Breckenridge has to offer. The house is great for 2 families with a kids bunk room and 2 adult suites. The heated garage means getting ready for a day on the slopes is a breeze. The only downsides I noted to the Ski Country team was that the shower on the main floor didnt get very warm and you have to be careful flushing the toilets. The master bed mattress needs replaced but the impeccable service we received from Ski Country team would lead me to beleive these niggles will be addressed. Finally one thing to be aware of is that the Four O’Clock run that comes back to the house is flat in places so snowboarders may struggle to carry enough speed. Not a big deal really and theres nothing Ski Country can do about that. We will definitey rebook this place.

The house and location is great! The free shuttle that will come to the house was very convenient. Everything you need is at the house to cook and be very comfortable. The internet connection was a little spotty at times and we had to move the chair from the master in the den to have enough seating but it worked. We would stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay here! The check in/check out process was easy. The hot tub was great, the location is perfect (can walk to Main Street in about 10 minutes), easy access to ski lift. I would love to visit when we could utilize the ski in feature.. we unfortunately did not have enough snow during our visit. If you are looking to work from home this is a great place as well. We had plenty of room to take calls as needed. My only negative is that the pillows need to be updated. They are a little worn in.

Absolute prime location in Breckenridge. Very clean property. There were a few items that need updating in the house. Older furniture was one item. A few blinds were missing. This unit serviced really well. I love the location relative to town and relative to hiking up into the ski area. All six of us were quite comfortable and all of the utensils and accommodations existed as described. There’s maybe a little bit of moderation that the unit could stand, but that was not detrimental to our stay or anyone else’s stay in my opinion. I’d highly recommend this home.

We booked this place on short notice after our earlier plans fell through. The place is perfect with its proximity to the Main St. (0.5 mi), Gondola ride and other shopping places. The kitchen is well stocked with everything a regular family would need to survive there. The premises are clean. No air conditioning, but plenty of breeze/cool air if you crack open the windows. The check in on Main St was smooth with clear instructions. Check-out was the same, courteous and friendly folks at the other end. This was our first family vacation with 2 toddlers (aged 3 and 4 yrs). The bunk beds and the Hot tub were a hit with them. The hot tub was ready to use and had jets and all, so we had some good family time in there. All in all this was a wonderful experience and I would definitely highly recommend the place for a stay with family.

From the moment we walked into the 4 O'clock chalet, it felt like home. It was comfortable, clean, and the floorplan was perfect for the adults and teens in our group. The location could not have been better. A short 5 minute walk and you're on Main Street with restaurants, shopping, and the perfect mountain town ambiance. The adults totally enjoyed the patio...the only thing that would have made it better would have been to have more comfortable patio furniture. The iron chairs get a bit hard after awhile. We solved that by blowing up an air mattress we brought with us and putting it on the deck. :-) There were a couple of minor issues that we reported to the property management company upon our departure, but nothing that was earth shattering and would impact our desire to stay here again. Thank you for a great property, great location, and great memories that will last a lifetime!

Our family really enjoyed this ski chalet! We always stay off the 4 O’Clock Rd area and this location was great. The home was very clean and organized. Very functional space and the mud room off the garage is spacious and handy for skiers. Kitchen was a well equipped. Loft area with game table was fun, along with the air hockey table. Everything was operational and working properly. We would return to this home again next ski season. We do suggest a new living room couch and loveseat as it’s showing it wear and cushions are saggy. Overall, our favorite VRBO in Breck after many years. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We loved everything about this house. It was very clean and had everything we needed for our 5 night stay. The listing is very accurate and the place looks better than the pictures. We had 5 people in the house with different ski levels so everyone could ski back to the house whenever they were tired and you could literally ski right to the garage door from the Four O’Clock Run. (It snowed every day so the driveway was full of snow). For ski out, you could ski down the Four O’Clock from the house and catch the shuttle or walk uphill a couple of blocks and get on the Snowflake Lift. It’s an accurate Ski In/Ski Out. Easy walk to town, which we did almost every evening for dinner. The kitchen is fully stocked and we made breakfast and lunch each day and even utilized the crockpot. It was easy to ski in for lunch and then go back out for a couple of hours. The check in process was seamless and we had to call the management company once to come light the pilot light in the gas fireplace and they came out within 30 minutes. We also used the hot tub one night. We would love to stay here again on our next Breck trip.

Our family of five loved everything about our week stay. The location is private at the end of the road with a trail to go up Peak 8 or walk into town, which we used everyday. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything needed plus a grill. We loved using the hot tub at the end of the day after a long hike. We did move in a chair from the master bedroom to have another place to sit in the living room. Would consider adding something to provide more seating. We would definitely come back.

Really nice, clean property! The kitchen is very well stocked. There are quite a few stairs, but that wasn’t a big issue for us.

Where do I start! We visited Breck for a 5-day trip and had the most amazing time. The proximity to the Snowflake lift and the ski-in was perfect and allowed us to save time doing other things in town. The location is phenomenal... very close to Main Street as well as City Market (for groceries). The amenities were impeccable and we could not have asked for a better experience. We will surely stay again! Bravo!

This is our 6th annual Colorado trip and this house had the best location by far. We walked back straight to the house from the base camp and the house is about 8-10 min walk to downtown Breck. Property has everything you need and is in good condition.

What a wonderful place, great kitchen, balcony, garage, all the kitchen things you need including all the things to make fondue. We were there in the Summer but this VRBO will be perfect for a skiing vacation as you can ski right down the 4 o'clock trail into your garage!

We had a great experience. The location of the house was perfect. We walked to town and also did a few hikes that were within walking distance. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was stocked and the hot tub was amazing. Our kids loved seeing the hummingbirds. Our only complaint was how hot the house was when we arrived. It took a long while to cool and especially the bunk room was still very warm and stuffy when we went to bed. Thank you for calling me and letting me know the house was ready early. We appreciated getting in that extra hour!

We love to spend time in Breckenridge and this was our first time staying at 4 O'Clock Chalet, the property is beautiful and is perfect for a family. There were 6 of us on this trip, my wife and I took our sons and their brides away after Thanksgiving to relax. I would absolutely use the Chalet again, the kitchen is very well supplied if you like to prepare your own meals and you are located a couple of blocks from Main street. The house is kept very clean, there were a couple of lighting fixtures that did not work but may have just needed new bulbs. I would recommend the property to anyone wanting to spend some time in Breck!

Great property, can walk easily into town, but property manager also provides free shuttle to anywhere in town - very useful for grocery shopping. Ski in with a short walk to the snowflake lift - can also use the shuttle to get to the lift if you don't feel like the walk. Highly recommend this property for skiers.
