Beginning April 1st, 2018, the Columbine Pool center will be closed for remodeling and will not be open again until December 1st, 2018. Construction noise can be expected during daylight hours until work is completed.
Tannenbaum Condominiums are one of our most popular destinations with its convenient location near the ski area. Nestled in a wooded area, these units are right next to the Blue River that runs beneath towering Blue Spruce trees. Feel the true Colorado experience as you relax on your private balcony with the river running below.
Less than a five minute walk to the Quicksilver Super Chair at the Peak 9 Base Area, take a quick stroll over a bridge and start your ski day. When you're done ski down to the base and walk back across the bridge to the complex and take retreat in your unit. If nightlife is what you are looking for, it is a short walk to the Peak 9 Village and all of the restaurants and shops on Park Avenue and Main Street in the heart of downtown.
You will enjoy staying in this open, top floor, loft bedroom and one bathroom unit which provides beautiful views of the Blue River. The mountain inspired unit features a fully equipped kitchen with all cooking and dining utensils, as well as a wood six person dining table. If your group requires more space, utilize the kitchen countertop bar with seating for three.
The living room area has vaulted tongue and groove wood ceilings, an extravagant rock decorated and wood burning fireplace as well as two couches that allows you to relax while watching a movie on the 25" flat screen TV. This 900 square foot unit can sleep four people between the loft Queen bed and the Queen sofa sleeper.
All units feature high speed internet and access to the on-site coin operated laundry facility. The common area deck is equipped with two grills and picnic area to accommodate any size group. This property does not offer an elevator and stairs are required to access this condo. Relish with access to the Columbine Recreation Center with an outdoor heated pool, indoor and outdoor oversized hot tubs, shower rooms and summer patio with outdoor furniture to savor the warm days. What a perfect way to end your long day of skiing or riding! (Seasonal - Subject to Spring/Fall Closures)

Wished we could have stayed linger than the 2 nights. Easy walking to Main Street but we took shuttle. Drivers were friendly and came quickly (but obviously not peak ski season). The lift ceiling by the bed and angled ceiling in shower not ideal but for the price, we gained so much space with kitchen, dining area, LR compared to hotel. Wished we could have used fireplace...hopefully we'll be back in ski season. And beer lovers, Breckenridge Brewery is a must stop!

In addition, it's location is truly an unbeatable one. Both seemingly tucked away amonst towering pines yet still just a short walk to downtown - and the aforementioned Breck Brewery! We arrived to a smoke filled condo due to ventilation or something - it smelled of cooking grease and on another night we could smell the strong odor of onions cooking. The condo also had burned out light bulbs upon arrival. Nice view of the river from the condo and overall the property was nice. The condo has some oddities, the low loft ceiling and stair case in the shower/bath tub. Using the coin operated laundry would be a lot easier if you had a change machine on site. Information about towel service would be nice - I know we weren't the only renters with this issue. 1 out of 3 shuttle drivers was friendly before we completely gave up on the shuttle that either never showed up or showed up 45 minutes to an hour later. 1 of the 3 drivers drove like a child in a toy car. Apparently the car in front of him drove too slow or was in his way as he followed extremely close and swerved back and forth to irritate the car's driver as I sat in the back and feared the potential accident that we narrowly escaped.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review of your stay at Tannenbaum 302A. We apologize that the set up for this Studio+Loft condo may have seemed a little awkward.. The condo does have a lock off bedroom, that would include a second bathroom, that can be rented for just a small amount more (in case this would interest you during future stays). We are happy to hear that you took advantage of our complimentary shuttle service, as this is a unique service that we are proud to offer to our guests, but we are very sorry to hear that the service was tainted due to the unprofessionalism of our drivers. This issue will be addressed with our management department, and we appreciate you having brought this to our attention. Had a lovely time. We stayed in this condo on our honeymoon 10 years ago, and this time we stayed in it with our 2 children. On our last night we were looking through the guest book and saw are entry from 10 years ago, it was pretty special. Condo was perfect and the town was amazing as always.
