Great location. Short walk to the Snowflake lift and ski in right to the condo door. Main Street is a five-minute walk. Great value for a clean condo right in the heart of it all.

Great spot, close to Snowflake Lift and easy to ski back on 4 o'clock run! Parking was a little tricky but there was always a spot. Comfy space, appliances as listed.

My family - husband and three teenagers stayed here over new years. The location is perfect. We walked one block to the snowflake lift in the morning and skied home at the end of the day. The outdoor hot tub was awesome. The unit is comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

I love the 1970s feel! They updated the couches, and bunk bed. A lot of space. Can sleep 7 very well! It had everything we needed! Very happy with the place! You will need your own Netflix. It is a great place to sleep for a big family!

If you want to cook - do not stay here - it has a horrible kitchen without a normal oven. It is a convection/microwave hanging from the ceiling. They did a kitchen remodel and it is awful, a dishwasher where the stove was, and they put a flat top cookstove on top of the dishwasher. This place has not been touched since 1983 and the artwork is there to prove it. Everything is original including the single hairdryer and fan. The carpet is worn and dirty along with the furniture. I am surprised the property management hasn't stepped in to tell the owners they need to fix some things and get new furniture and artwork. The upside - it has a fantastic location and patio. The outside of the complex looks fantastic - very misleading to what you will experience on the inside. Also - we fixed the garbage disposal when we were there! HAHAHA

This property is heavily used and is in need of updates. The complex is nice and centrally located. However being at the end of the four o’clock run is a tiring run at the end of the day. Walking out each morning to a bus or up hill to a lift is taxing as well. Thee shuttle service offered by Ski Country Resorts is great. Very convenient. The hot tub is very nice. The fire place puts out good heat but is so dirty that you can barely see the flame. The couch cushions and pillows all need replacing or steam cleaned. Not an expensive stay so I guess you get what you pay for but we would not want to stay at this unit again.

This room was exactly what we needed! It's located one block from the base of the Snowflake lift and so close to the Four O'Clock run that we could ski right to the front door of the building. It's also a short ten minute walk to the Main Street of Breckenridge.
The unit easily accommodated our family of five. We had enough room for us, our ski gear, and our luggage. Parking was easy, and we never feared we wouldn't have a space. The Smart TV worked well, and was much easier to use than smart TVs in other AirBNB properties we've stayed at.
The furniture and interior decor is a bit dated, but we would gladly stay in this unit again if we come back to Breckenridge. One thing for potential renters to consider: the kitchen has a microwave and stove top, but it doesn't have an oven. If you plan on baking you may want to stay somewhere else.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The vacation rental was in an excellent location. The Snowflake lift and the Christy Ski rental store were both about a block and a half away. Main street is an easy ten minute walk. You can find a lovely hiking trail two blocks away. The room also met all of our families needs - two bedrooms, beds for all five of us and two bathrooms. The TV even worked - which has been a problem we've had with "smart" TVs in other vacation rentals.
The only issue we had with the room was that the refrigerator was broken while we visited. The management supplied a replacement mini-fridge, and also sent a repair man to look at the appliance. Sadly, he concluded that the refrigerator was beyond repair and since it was the day after Christmas a replacement would be impossible to find while we were there.

Good value and convenient location. Not far from Main Street, hiking trails and shuttle stops. Easy parking. A little bit of a pain having to check in and check out at the office instead of at the condo, and the place could definitely use some updating. But the place was clean, the response from the rental company was quick, the beds were comfortable, and the layout was great for a family or friends.

Perfect location for a ski weekend, and plenty of room. The check in process is a little difficult because you need to go to the office to get and return the keys. A lock box would make this unit a lot easier to stay in.

When our trip was cut short a couple days from bad weather, the ski country team worked with us to get a small partial refund for the time we missed. Very considerate of their staff! The property itself was well kept and cozy. No complaints.

Reviewer Comments: This condo has a great location for everything Breck has to offer. Steps away from the snowflake lift (albeit the slowest chair on the mtn), and just a short walk to town. Our specific rental property had a few issues. I’ll start with the kitchen. No oven, big problem if you want to avoid the weekend crowds and eat dinner in the room. There’s a fancy microwave above the stove top, but don’t be fooled. Also kitchen has been in need of a thorough upgrade since at least 2010. Felt like I was staying at an old lady’s home who no longer cooks, but still keep her old hardware in the cabinets. Dirty dishes in the cabinets too, hate to see that. Carpet aside, this place is a time capsule to 1992. No updates in sight, I really wondered if we were the first guests here in the last decade. Seriously, knock on the door of the adjacent condo unit and see the potential of what this place could look like. In summary, the hot tub was not operational during our stay which would’ve compensated for some of decadence of the condo. If you like condos that take you back in time, boy do I have the spot for you!

INCREDIBLE location at Breckenridge...less than five minute walk to Snowflake lift and ski off right to the unit! There is a hot tub right on site that you can reserve for use and the trash drop is right in the parking lot. The staff at Ski Country is extremely kind and quick to respond to any questions.
I would HIGHLY recommend staying at Double Eagle A12 so long as you're comfortable staying in a unit that is quite dated. If you prefer newer units, then this one isn't for you! The only reason I gave this unit 4/5 stars is because the unit is dated.

Everything you need but some small investments would make a big difference. Outdoor furniture would be nice, nothing out there makes a nice patio space useless. Also TVs are cheap, the tiny TV is to small for the space.

If you are looking at this condo you can see that it is in serious need of an update but if you are like us and booking last minute and looking for something close to Main St here are some things I wish I knew before booking. The good: the proximity to Main st couldn’t be better. The check-in check-out process was seamless. Tha bad, what you can’t tell from the photos. It’s smells not terrible but not good! It’s very stuffy even with the window open, some fans might help. It does sit right on the street so there is a lot of road noise. The bunk bed is one of the reasons we chose this condo so my 3 kids could all sleep in one room but the space between the top and bottom bunk is very small. We had a lot of bonked heads. Last, almost all the outlets need to be replaced if you walk past something too fast whatever is plugged in will fall out. This happened with the TV and router several times and it was very annoying. I did let property management know.

Reviewer Comments: We were looking for condo to provide enough space for 7 of us and this unit did meet that expectation. Pros - The location is really good and just a few blocks from Main Street. There is a trailhead just a few blocks up the road which leads to a beautiful lake and trails. The hot tub is just outside of unit, was a good size and worked well. The community pool area is also very nice with plenty of space for people to enjoy the area. Cons - There is only 1 parking space per unit. The unit is very dated like 70's and could really use a facelift. There aren't any chairs on patio and the TV wasn't working during our stay. With a little TLC this unit could easily be brought into the 2000's! If you aren't fussy about updated amenities, this is a good find for the price.

Screen door didn't work. Nice outside area but no outside furniture. Inside couches were uncomfortable. One small TV in unit. Only silverware service for 4. There was laundry facility upstairs with one washer and one dryer. Definitely a no frills unit. There were 4 of us and although it says it sleeps 7 we feel that is pushing it.

Nice that it was on bottom floor. Enjoyed the hot tub and close proximity to everything. Would have been nice to have some chairs to sit in outside. The sign to the place isn’t lit and very small so a bit hard to see. Paid the extra $25 for early check in wish that would have been free. Would stay here again.

Awesome location for access to downtown, snow flake lift and you can ski down 4 o’clock to the condo. You can only park one car at the condo so keep in mind the cost for overnight parking. Check-in is off site which isn’t ideal.

The condo is pretty convenient to everything and after a long day of skiing it is awesome that it is on the first floor. The place is pretty dated and the beds are super uncomfortable. The hot tube is really close but pretty gross. Over all the condo is just ok, for what you pay to rent it I would expect it to be a little nicer.

Place had a musty smell. The pool is 2 blocks from the unit and check in was 1/2 mile away. The queen bed was comfortable but the others were hard. Could not get the unit cool the 2nd night , we opened windows and screens but still real warm, the last night. Unit stocked well for cooking. We enjoyed the hot tub. Parking was difficult.

This condo is in a great location. Ski-in and close enough to walk to the 4'Oclock lift. The condo could use some updating but it was very clean and had enough kitchen utensils that you can easily cook there. A little issue with the cable but it was taken care of immediately. This unit worked perfectly for our family of four (2 college age sons). Great location, easy to walk into town or onto a trail, and happy price. Condo was comfortable and had good space. We were able to cook several meals in the unit - although would have been great to have a few more cooking items (microwave safe cooking bowls, measuring spoons, etc). Patio was lovely space but no furniture to enjoy it with. Unit could use a bit of updating - new carpet, coat of paint. We enjoyed the hot tub! Thank you!

Great location for walking or taking the bus, lots of room in the condo. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back. The condo was very well equipped and comfortable. Loved being on the first floor.

The location was wonderful, very quiet and beautiful and so close to main street, which we really loved. The price is great for being in Breck but the unit is old and smells old and has very minimal bathroom & kitchen items, so keep that in mind.
Check in and check out were very easy, though off-site. They were very responsive when my husband got a bad bloody nose one night and they came to clean the carpet that next morning.
Another thing to keep in mind is that the pool and hot tub are in another complex all together, so you have to drive there or walk 10 minutes each way.
We enjoyed our stay very much and felt the price was a good value for being so close to downtown Breckenridge.

Located on the 4 O'clock slope, Double Eagle is a great spot. It's walking distance to town too. This unit needs more updating. Could not figure out why there was such a small TV. Carpet looks worn out. Some furniture is new and some is old. Overall, it suited our needs. Based on other units in Double Eagle we have rented, we expected better.

We really enjoyed our stay at Double Eagle A12. There were 5 of us that stayed here. The beds were comfortable and the furniture was in good condition. I really liked that it was a ground floor unit. There was plenty of space for us to feel comfortable. We cooked all of our meals at the condo. We couldn't figure how to use the convection oven. It would have helped to have an operating manual for us. Also, the refrigerator constantly made a strange noise. All in all, we would give this unit an A minus. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a clean and comfortable stay.

Upon receiving you review, we did send a member from our maintenance team to the unit for inspection and we did confirm the noise reported. We had a professional take a look at the issue and are happy to say the noise has been fixed as of 1/2/17. Again, thanks for making us aware so that we were able to repair this in a timely matter! We are so happy to hear that, otherwise, you did enjoy your stay and time spent at Double Eagle. This is a great complex, and unit, for those wanting convenient ski access on a budget. Also located a reasonable distance from town center, these cozy condominiums are a popular choice for those visiting Breckenridge. The accommodations have not been kept up. The couch is broken, the stove top did not work, the dishwasher is so loud that you can't watch TV in the other room at the same time, the bed mattress is lumpy, and the carpet is very worn.

While this condo was good on location, it was desperately lacking in common basic amenities. The master bedroom mattress and box springs is cheap, small and uncomfortable. One thing that adults want after a day of skiing is a comfortable bed, not one that is comparable to Motel 6! Other issues with this unit: Atleast one of the burners on the stove did not work. The stove indicator light never went off. One of the other coils didn't fit properly in the stove top. Time for an upgrade! The flooring and countertops in both bathrooms are straight out of the 1970's! Time for an upgrade! No room on the vanity's to even place a curling iron. No hooks in the bathroom to hang up bathrobes, towels from the hot tub etc. This is a cheap, cheap fix. The furniture and décor in this unit has obviously been thrown together, doesn't match, and again, is outdated. The "artwork" while in decent shape not doubt came from the 1980's. Upon arrival, all the of the furniture was pulled atleast a foot from the walls: The bunk bed, the futon, the TV stand. The mismatched furniture in the master bedroom doesn't work; there aren't 2 nightstands, no TV, a random lamp that doesn't fit or work anywhere. The structure and layout of this condo is good. The entry with the benches and hooks for snow gear is great. Location - good!

Dear Cheryl: Thank you for your detailed report as to the general condition of Double Eagle A12. I have forwarded these comments to the property owner in hopes that they will consider the replacement of the electrical baseboard heaters and the bathroom door. The balance of the maintenance issues have been addressed since you made us aware of the issues including the electric hot water heater. Checkin and checkout were a breeze; just a mile or so away at Christy's ski shop. Location was great, just a couple minute walk to Main St. Comfortable and spacious, decor and appliance were a little dated but everything was very clean.
