Other Bars Where You Can Catch The Big Game :

Burke & Riley’s Irish Pub – Located on the south end of town, on the rooftop of La Cima Mall, Burke & Riley’s is a sports lovers mecca. Warm up around the outdoor firepit and then warm up inside with Irish Car Bombs and the game playing on all speakers.

Downstairs at Eric’s – The clear winner for “Best Family Friendly Sports Bar in Breck,” dad can enjoy the game and the brews with 29 flat screen TVs and 30 beers on tap, and the kids can enjoy a full size arcade with more than 20 games.

Fatty’s Pizzeria – Historic building and a historically rowdy football crew. Belly up to the bar and join the fun with long-time locals and visitors alike. Luigi’s Sports Bar & Pizzeria – One of Breck’s newest sports bars. Catch the big game, awesome pizza, and sample their signature Stadium Cocktails (like “Hawaiian Punch,” a rum concoction called “Island Dream,” or Hard Lemonades available in 10 different flavors).

Napper Tandy’s Irish Pub – Grab a seat in this massive venue (and our favorite spot in Breck for a pint of Guinness) and watch the game or big fight on the huge screens. Outdoor firepit, pool tables, darts, arcade games, and a great crew behind the bar make this one the best sports viewing spots in town. Located upstairs from Salt Creek Steakhouse.

Northside Pizza – Small, local hangout featuring everything from cheap PBRs to high-end craft beers, and some of the best wings in Breck! Ollie’s Pub and Grub – Belly up to one of Breck’s biggest bars, with a huge tap selection, daily drink specials, and big portions of your favorite gametime grub.

The Motherloaded Tavern – Head over to “Momma’s” for plenty of seats for you and your friends, homecooked dishes, housemade infused cocktails, and cheap drafts.

What better way to start working on that New Year’s resolution of living life to the fullest than spending New Year's Eve in Breckenridge? Known as laid-back & friendly, Breckenridge is the perfect place to ring in the New Year! Whether you're looking for fireworks, dancing, romance or a midnight kiss with a stranger you’ve come to the right place! Here's your 2017 guide to starting off 2018 in the most enjoyable way possible!

► Glow Worm Parade | 5.45p | Peak 9 Breckenridge
What could be better for the kiddos than the chance to be in a parade?? How about a parade on SKIS, at NIGHT with GLOWSTICKS!? Enter, the Glow Worm Parade. All confident ski & riders ages 5-13 are welcome to participate in this one of a kind, annual New Years Eve event in Breckenridge. Watch as these little powder hounds, donning glowsticks while careening down green terrain on Peak 9, give off the appearance of a New Year’s glow warm.

Registration for the parade starts at 5 pm and is located at the Beaver Run Ski and Ride School. Parade starts at 5.45p immediately followed by the Torchlight Parade at 6p. Glow Worm participants must be able to stop and turn on green terrain. Weather permitting.

► Torchlight Parade | 6 pm | Peak 9 Breckenridge
A long-standing tradition in Breckenridge, watch as the pros of the Breckenridge Ski & Ride School take the hill and carry torches from the top of Peak 9 down to the base area. The red glow flowing down the mountain is truly a sight to see. Although visible from almost anywhere in town, we recommend grabbing a warm cocktail on the expansive decks of either the Maggie or Coppertop Bar for optimal viewing. Weather permitting.

New Years Day

Skiing/Riding : Believe it or not, this is arguably one of the best days of the year to catch first chair and early morning tracks. Due to the nature of most New Year’s Eve celebrations, the mountain remains fairly quiet the morning of January 1st.

Resolution Run : Ready to kick start that New Year’s Resolution? This 5k snow run (or snowshoe) is a great way to start the new year off on the right foot followed by a post-race party, finisher gifts and prizes round out the event.  Click Here for registration and details.

A Word From Ski Country : At Ski Country, we never encourage drinking and driving! Which is why we offer our unique and personalized Shuttle Service to all guests (extended hours on New Year Eve). We encourage all guests to utilize this free service (tips appreciated) when staying with Ski Country Resorts. Although we do try our best to maintain a prompt & reliable service, during busy times & holidays our service may be a bit delayed. Other options available are Uber (recently debuted in Breckenridge) as well as the local free bus (oftentimes the most reliable source of transportation – other than your own two feet). On New Years Eve The Breckenridge Free Ride offers special late-night service (until 2:15 a.m.)
