June - September, 2008 Breckenridge Music Festival Back for it's 27th season, performances range from classical to contemporary. Click here for a complete schedule.
June - August, 2008 National Repertory Orchestra Founded in 1960, the NRO peforms in residence at the Riverwalk Center. Performing two full orchestra concerts each week with smaller chamber concerts during the festival. 970-453-5825 or www.normusic.org
June 20- September, 2008 Main Street Performances Breckenridge’s Blue River Plaza hosts free performances every Friday, Saturday and Sunday throughout the summer.
June - September, 2008 Breckenridge World Market Join us every Sunday in the summer for the Breckenridge Farmer's Market with fresh veggies and fruit and locally made crafts. June - September from 9am - 2pm.
Breckenridge Nature Series Enjoy guided nature hikes and programs sponsored by the Town of Breckenridge. 970-453-3362
Fifth Annual Sculpture on the Blue A collection of sculptures from local and national artists in the Blue River Plaza and on the Riverwalk Center Lawn.
Historic Breckenridge Take a guided or unguided stroll through Breckenridge sites and museums.
Peak 8 Fun Park (June 15 - September 3) Breckenridge Ski Resort offers numerous Fun Park Activities.
Storytime and Imagineering (May 28-September 3) Each Monday at 11am (ages 2-5) and Thursday at 11am (ages 6-10). Stories read to children and stories written by children. Hamlet's Bookshoppe, 306 S. Main Street. 970-453-8033

May 11 Mother's Day
June 5-7 The 28th Annual Breckenridge Film Festival Complete schedule coming soon. Visit the official website.
June 11 High Country Comedy Night Bringing humor to the Park Avenue Pub every month.
June 14-15 Kingdom Days are back for this 2-day event celebrating Breckenridge's rich history. Founded in 1859, Breckenridge was inadvertently left off the official U.S. maps and became known as “Colorado’s Kingdom” until 1936 when it was finally incorporated. Kingdom Days will celebrates this as well as gold fields and mining, exploration and adventure, brothels and saloons, booms and busts. Last year's event include the 1st Annual Outhouse races.
June 14 NRO Repertory Run The 2nd Annuall NRO Repertory Run begins at 8am. Race starts and finishes at the Riverwalk Center with the 5k/2k run for $20 or the Kid's Dash for $5. For registration go to www.active.com. All proceeds benefit the National Repertory Orchestra. 970-453-5825.

July 3-6 Independence Day Celebration Celebrate the Fourth with the Parade along Main Street, entertainment, activities, family fun and fireworks (weather permitting).

August 29 - September 1 Labor Day Weekend Events include the Great Divide Arts & Crafts Fair, The Rubber Duck Race and Sidewalk Sale Days.
August 30 - September 1 Gathering at the Great Divide Art Festival This event, in it's 33rd year, is nationally ranked in the top 200 of fine art shows in the U.S. Featurning over 140 artists with a wide range of mediums including photography, glass, jewelry, wood, pottery and many more. September 12-14 14th Annual Oktoberfest Grab your stein, throw on your lederhosen, and get ready for Breckenridge’s 14th Annual Oktoberfest! The event returns to Main Street to commemorate a time-honored tradition of German heritage. The festival has become a Breckenridge mainstay and offers Oompah music, Bavarian foods and kids’ activities. Join Breckenridge and Paulaner Bier for the best Oktoberfest in the mountains.
