Mardi Gras
Mardi Gras Breckenridge
Bacchus Ball - February 18th, 2012
Fat Tuesday Parade – February 21st, 2012
Make no mistake about it, we give our friends down in the Big Easy a run for their money! Mardi Gras events take place throughout the town of Breckenridge, and our two mile high festivities have become known for setting the bar for Mardi Gras in the mountains.
The three major Mardi Gras events are the Bacchus Ball, Lundi Gras Free Concert and the Fat Tuesday Celebration. The Bacchus Ball is a New Orleans Style masquerade ball bringing live music, dancing, Cajun-style food and drink prepared by an authentic New Orleans chef to Breckenridge. Festivities include the crowning of the Mardi Gras Rex and Queen and much more.
