Spring Massive festival is a multi-faceted, interactive event including entertainment, family fun and competitions, making it the perfect event for spring skiing. Events include free outdoor concerts, Bite of Breckenridge, a Massive Beer Festival, Comedy Nights and more! This year's schedule hasn't been announced yet, so check back for updates. Until then check out the schedule below to see what happened last year. It'll give you a good idea of how much fun we're in for!

March 31st-1st: Surefoot Colorado Ski Cup Championships
The International Ski Federation's Rocky Mountain Trophy Series features high ranking national and international competitors racing slalom and giant slalom.
March 31st-11th: Bite of Breckenridge
For a truly unique dining experience, come to Breckenridge during the annual Spring Massive "Bite of Breckenridge". Participating restaurants will feature sample menu items at a fixed rate of $10, $20 and/or $30, depending on the restaurant. Don't miss this chance to sample Breck's premier restaurants at an exceptional price! Look for flags at participating restaurants.
April 2nd: Massive Competition Weekend
Join us in Breckenridge at 9,600 feet this April 2nd-4th for the annual Spring Massive Competition Weekend that continues to grow in Massive proportions from year to year! Highlights for 2009 include: a brand new event, Massive Style & Air kicks off the weekend; Massively increased prize purse from $15K to $28K; AND on-line registration. You don’t want to miss this weekend of exciting competitions, music, parties, prizes and more!

April 3rd: KSMT Massive Beer Festival
The festival features live music and over 20 microbreweries with unlimited tasting.
April 3rd-4th: Breckenridge Calcutta
The Breckenridge Calcutta will focus on the history of skiing as this year's theme as well as drawing attention to the contributions, uniqueness and community spirit of Breckenridge with a dinner celebration and on-hill races.
April 3rd-4th: Kids Easter Party Weekend
The SnowActive Kid's Weekend is full of FREE "fun-tastic" snow adventures catering to guests tall and small including interactive escapades that will make for a family affair you won't forget! Weekend activities include an Interactive Kid's Village at the base of Peak 8 all weekend, face painting, Mini Snow Sculpting Challenge, "Egg"cellent Easter Egg Hunt at the Kid's Tent and our favorite ski school mascot Ripperoo will also be hosting a Mini World Cup with prizes! With Easter bunny appearances all weekend, you can’t miss this event!
April 6th: High Country Comedy Night
In its third year, High Country Comedy brings humor to the slopes! The talent descends on Breckenridge the second Wednesday of each month at Park Avenue Pub and features a nationally touring headliner along with one of the regions best up and comers.
April 7th: Spring Chickens Senior Appreciation Day
Breckenridge Ski Resort would like to take a day to appreciate 65+ Skiers and Riders. Breckenridge is offering FREE Parking (until lot is full) at the Gondola South Parking Lot and free lunch vouchers ($10 value) will be handed out at the Vista Haus Restaurant starting at 11:00am.
April 10th: Avalanche Dog Expo
Meet and greet the Breckenridge Avalanche Rescue Dogs! There will be obedience demonstrations, Avalanche Dog Drills, and photo opportunities with the dogs.

Massive Music Weekend- Presented by Bud Light
Finish off the season in style with Breckenridge's FREE end of season blowout concert in town at the Riverwalk Center. Presented by Bud Light! Doors open at 2:45pm…what better way to end a great season than with sunshine-filled day on the slopes and action-packed concerts in town.
April 11th: Imperial Challange
The thirteenth annual Imperial Challenge warms up with a 6.2 mile mountain bike ride from the Town of Breckenridge across Peak 7 to Peak 8. Followed by a 2,500 foot, wind testing ascent of Peak 8 to the top of the Imperial Bowl on the equipment of your choice. As your quadriceps quiver from oxygen deprivation and lactic acid build up, begin your descent to the base of Peak 8 on skis or a snowboard.
