Horseback Riding

During your Breckenridge summer vacation get out your wranglers and enjoy a day of horseback riding.  Horseback riding can be a great way to access the back country.  You'll enjoy alpine meadows, views of high snow capped peaks, and flowing streams.  Explore the local Breckenridge mountains or stray further afield to Keystone or Copper.  Horseback riding is a great activity for the whole family with many trail rides being appropriate for children and teenagers.  Add a hearty breakfast or cowboy dinner and make a day out of the outing.

Breckenridge Stables – Offering sleigh rides, carriage rides, and horseback riding, Breckenridge Stables has a wide array outdoor activities.  From 1.5 hour trail rides to breakfast or dinner rides, let Breckenridge Stables introduce you to the Breckenridge wilderness on horseback. 

Copper Mountain Stables – Head over to Copper, Colorado and enjoy a trail ride or pack trip with Copper Mountain Stables.  They offer 1-2 hour trail rides along with half day rides with lunch.  Morning rides come with a complementary breakfast.

Keystone Stables – Opened during the summer season only, Keystone Stables offers hose rides.  Explore Keystone during a one to two hour ride.  Pony rides are available for the kids.  Want to enjoy the area, but don't enjoy horseback riding?  Try a horse-drawn wagon ride.
